A combination picture shows a 23-year-old police officer (L) and a 23-year-old student and stone pelter who both asked to remain anonymous, as they pose for portraits in Kashmir, India, in photos taken May 19, and May 18, 2017. The police officer said: "I am the son of a farmer and joined the police as I had no other job. I have no regrets in joining the police. I donÕt differentiate who is pelting stones at us. We have to act whether he is a policemanÕs son or someone else. For me every stone pelter is equal." The protester said: "If I get a weapon, I am ready to join the militancy Ð but for the time being, the stone is our weapon," he said. "My father is in the police, posted in Srinagar. He used to tell me to join the police, but now he does not insist." REUTERS/Cathal McNaughton SEARCH "MCNAUGHTON KASHMIR" FOR THIS STORY. SEARCH "WIDER IMAGE" FOR ALL STORIES.
