A woman displays the new comic book "Asterix chez les Pictes" (Asterix and the Picts), written by French author Jean-Yves Ferri and illustrated by Didier Conrad, in a bookstore in Paris October 24, 2013. Malt whisky, bagpipes and the Loch Ness Monster take centre stage in the newest Asterix comic, as the yellow-moustached Gaul and his portly buddy Obelix travel to ancient Scotland to drive back the Romans in the beloved comic's 35th installment. After an absence of eight years, "Asterix chez les Pictes" is the latest in the series of comic books created by illustrator Albert Uderzo and writer Rene Goscinny in 1959 that have sold 352 million copies worldwide.
