Rwanda's genocide-hunter Dafroza Gauthier arrives for the start of the trial of former Rwandan army captain Pascal Simbikangwa at a Paris court February 4, 2014. Trial begins against Pascal Simbikangwa, a 54-year-old former soldier who allegedly supplied killers with arms and instructions and who some in Rwanda nickname "the torturer", on suspicion of genocide and crimes against humanity. The trial of the former Hutu officer will mark the first trial in France to judge those suspected of participating in the Rwandan genocide. Simbikangwa was arrested on the French island of Mayotte in 2008 under an international arrest warrant for his alleged involvement in the genocide and risks life in jail.
