Japan's Hitachi unveils what the company says is the world's smallest vein authentication system device in Tokyo October 3, 2005. The system, measuring 39 mm (1.5 inch) in depth, 34 mm (1.3 inch) in width and 15mm (0.59 inch) in height, will be built into personal computers and PDAs, the company said.
