Funeral for Hezbollah Members - 21 Jan 2015
Relatives of Lebanon's Hezbollah commander Mohamad Issa, known as Abu Issa, stand over his coffin with a child and a toy weapon during his funeral in Arab-Salim, south Lebanon January 20, 2015. Israeli forces took up positions along the disengagement line with Syria on Monday, a day after an Israeli helicopter strike in Syria killed the commander from Lebanon's Hezbollah and the son of the group's late military leader Imad Moughniyah. The missile strike hit a convoy carrying Jihad Moughniyah and Abu Issa, in the province of Quneitra, near the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights, killing six Hezbollah members in all, a statement from the group said. Israel has not officially commented on the hit, but an Israeli security source confirmed to Reuters that Israel had carried it out. An Israeli defence official said escalation was "definitely possible... We're bracing for that possibility." REUTERS/Ali Hashisho (LEBANON - Tags: POLITICS CIVIL UNREST)
