Mother of Islamic State captive Jordanian pilot Muath al-Kasaesbeh holds his picture while sitting in a car, as she takes part in a demonstration demanding that the Jordanian government negotiate with Islamic state and for the release of her son, in front of the prime minister's building in Amman, January 27, 2015. Kasaesbeh was captured after his jet crashed in northeast Syria in December during a bombing mission against the militants. A video released on Tuesday that purportedly features the voice of Kenji Goto, a Japanese hostage of Islamic State militants who could be killed in 24 hours, says that Kasaesbeh has a shorter time to live than Goto. Reuters could not verify the authenticity of the video but Japan's Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihide Suga said it appeared to show Goto and the voice resembled that on a video on Saturday that U.S. and Japanese officials have said appeared to be genuine.
