Children stand at a damaged area, which the Libyan government said was from a coalition air strike, at the house of Saif Al-Arab Gaddafi, son of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, in Tripoli May 1, 2011. Libya said on Sunday Muammar Gaddafi's youngest son Saif Al-Arab and three grandchildren were killed in a NATO air strike and Britain said that while it was not targeting the leader, it was homing in on his military machine.
Libyan government spokesman Mussa Ibrahim said Gaddafi was unharmed and in good health despite what he called "a direct operation to assassinate the leader of this country". The deaths have not been independently confirmed. REUTERS/Ismail Zitouny (LIBYA - Tags: POLITICS CONFLICT CIVIL UNREST)

Libyan children stand in a house, which was struck by one of four rockets that hit the centre of the rebel-held city of Misrata, June 22, 2011. An uptick in rocket attacks has coincided with battlefield setbacks to the west of the city, where the rebellion is haemorrhaging fighters as they try in vain to advance along the coast towards the Libyan capital, Tripoli. Nerves have been rattled, and Misrata -- scene of some of the bloodiest fighting of Libya's four-month-old war -- is beginning to lay blame. Picture taken June 22, 2011. Children look at a display of weapons and ammunitions picked up after a fierce battle between rebels and forces loyal to Muammar Gaddafi on Tripoli street in central Misrata May 22, 2011. Residents of the battle-scarred city of Misrata in west Libya searched for food from poorly stocked shops on Sunday and rebels stripped weapons from the carcasses of Gaddafi's armour. Distant blasts rumbled through the eerily quiet roads of Misrata, Libya's third biggest city and the scene of some of the fiercest fighting since an uprising began in mid-February. A boy holds a rifle as his family takes part in celebrations on the western outskirts of the town of Ajdabiyah March 26, 2011. Children play with a ball around waste in the city of Benghazi April 11, 2011. Rotten fruit, plastic bags and soda cans have begun to pile up in the alleys and open lots of Benghazi, testament to the challenges this once-elegant port city faces as Libya's uprising drags on. Plumes of acrid smoke now rise daily over the rebel stronghold as residents burn the trash that has started to amass in almost every available space. Picture taken April 11, 2011.
