Honorary pallbearer Merv Griffin, an entertainer and close friend of the Reagans, looks on as the casket of former U.S. President Ronald Reagan is carried from the Capitol building, prior to a state funeral in Washington, June 11, 2004. Six days of mourning and remembrance for Reagan approached a climax on Friday as world leaders and veterans of the Cold War gathered at Washington's National Cathedral to take part in the former president's state funeral.
