Two white farmers have been killed and several farm houses burnt to the ground since the crisis began in February.

War veterans and squatters eat and drink outside their shelters on Rise Home Farm April 21. The veterans have taken over the farm 25 Km's north east of the capital and are slaughtering cattle for food. Over 1000 mainly white owned farms have been illegally occupied by government sponsored war veterans and villagers. Two white farmers and several black farm workers have been killed and several farm houses burnt to the ground since the crisis began in February.
