A tourist information map of Dresden's historical city is half submerged after the waters of the river Elbe flooded a street in Dresden, April 4, 2006. Flood waters on the River Elbe in Germany stopped rising overnight and stagnated at a level of 7.49 metres on Tuesday. Hundreds of workers toiled around the clock checking dikes, building dams of sandbags and pumping away water.
