Israeli scientists said on Wednesday they had discovered a prehistoric ecosystem dating back millions of years. The discovery was made in a cave near the central Israeli city of Ramle during rock drilling at a quarry. A centipede and scorpions crawl on the face of Boontawee Siengwong, 26, in
Pattaya beach, 150 km (93 miles) east of Bangkok, October 12, 2003.
Siengwong spent 28 days eating and sleeping with 1,000 centipedes in a glass
room measuring 12 square metres in the hope of gaining entry into the World
