Nepal's only billionaire Binod Chaudhary, whom Forbes valued at a billion dollars in March, speaks with Reuters during an interview in his office at Chaudhary Group in Kathmandu October 4, 2013. Nepal's only billionaire made his name selling instant noodles. Now he's got an eye on running the young Himalayan republic. Chaudhary, recently valued by Forbes at a billion dollars, says he would give up business for a shot at governing one of the world's poorest countries. But not yet. Nepal's politics are just too messy, even for a man who was able to build a business empire during a civil war. To match Story NEPAL-BILLIONAIRE/ Picture take October 4, 2013. Ferina, 5, and her brother sit next to a bag of recyclables on a street in South Jakarta September 6, 2011. Their family left their Cirebon hometown of West Java province for the capital of Jakarta five years ago with the intention of scavenging for plastics and used bottles, but ended up having to resort to begging sometimes. The government has tripled spending on poverty alleviation in the past decade, but poverty levels in the sprawling archipelago have only dipped by about six percent in that period, according to Latif Adam, an economist at the government-funded think-tank Indonesia's Institute of Sciences.
