A private funeral for R&B star Aaliyah, who died August 25, 2001 with

31 at St. Ignatiius Loyola Church in New York, according to Kevin Mack,
general manager of the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home in Manhattan. A
daylong memorial event for fans who wish to pay tribute to the
22-year-old singer, will be held the same day at Cipriani's 42nd
Street, near Grand Central Terminal in New York, according to Virgin
