Trainer Lee Yida holds a paper that reads "add your mobile phone number" while giving a lecture in the theme of "the elements to success" to dealership sales staffs during a sales camp at BMW Group Training Center in Beijing, China, September 9, 2015. At BMW, where deliveries to dealers in China have grown just 1 percent so far this year, this means putting recruits through sales 'boot camp' and turning experienced staff into spreadsheet wonks. The world's top luxury car maker this month opened its largest Asia training centre in Xi'an in Shaanxi province. It is also rolling out online training phone apps and having in-house trainers at dealerships look after basic skills so training centres can focus on teaching more advanced skills. Training classes have shifted to help dealers identify areas they can change for a quick improvement in results, said BMW's China training chief Xiao Yi. Picture taken on September 9, 2015. A lecturer teaches a student to distributes chips during a gaming lesson at a mock casino run by the Macao Polytechnic Institute (MPI) Gaming Teaching and Research Centre in Macau March 6,2014. Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd and Melco Crown Entertainment Ltd look best placed to benefit from the next phase of Macau's development as the world's gambling capital adds eight more mega-casinos by 2017. Analysts estimate new casinos opening in 2015-2017 will require 12,600 new dealers, yet only about 700 are available per year. Macau laws dictate only locals can work as dealers, and the government is under pressure from residents who regularly take to the streets to ensure these restrictions remain. The University is bustling with foreign students who come to the laboratories to learn the ins and outs of gelato making before going back home to set up their own businesses - possibly with a Carpigiani machine. Every year Carpigiani also selects a group of highly motivated Italians ready to leave everything to open gelato shops abroad. Besides funding scholarships for the programme, the company also covers half the price of buying a new Carpigiani machine and will buy it back inside a year if the business folds.
