The Victory Team of Khalfan Harib and Mohammed Al-Ghaith of the U.A.E. survey damage sustained to their boat in an horrific 100mph testing crash in heavy seas at the Norwegian Grand Prix in Arendal, July 18. Harib and Al-Ghaith escaped unhurt in a race won by former American World Champion and guest entry, Matt Alcone in US1.

THE DUBAI TEAM VICTORY 5 BOAT BURSTS INTO FLAMES DURING NORWEGIAN GRAND PRIX.
The Team Dubai Victory 5 burns fiercely off the coast of Norway, July 19. Former double world champions Saeed Al Tayer of the UAE and Felix Serralles of Puerto Rico escaped serious injury when their boat exploded in flames within sight of the finish line of the World Power Boat Championship's Norwegian Grand Prix in Arendal. Both men were airlifted to hospital with minor injuries.
