A pedicab driver points out attractions to a customer during a ride through Central Park in the Manhattan borough in New York, February 4, 2016. A plan to rein in New York City's horse-drawn carriages, a long-time Central Park tourist attraction, has collapsed after the labor union that helped negotiate the deal withdrew its support, Mayor Bill de Blasio said on Thursday. Pedicab drivers also opposed the deal because it would have barred them from the southern part of the park where most of their fares originate. The restriction would have given the horse-drawn carriages a monopoly in that section. REUTERS/Brendan McDermid

A pedicab driver holds a fan with an image of Pope Francis as he speaks to a colleague in Havana, September 18, 2015. The United States on Friday issued regulations easing restrictions on American companies seeking to do business in Cuba and opening up travel in the latest action to weaken the U.S. trade embargo amid warming relations with the Communist country. The rules, which take effect on Monday, Sept. 21, target travel, telecommunications, Internet-based services, business operations and banking, and allow U.S. companies to establish a presence in Cuba. They also eliminate limits on the amount of money people can send back to the Caribbean nation. The announcement came just as Pope Francis, who played an instrumental role in the diplomatic opening late last year, prepares to visit Cuba this weekend before heading to the United State next week. The Vatican has long condemned the embargo against Cuba. REUTERS/Alexandre Meneghini

A rickshaw puller waits for customers in front of the main gate of Hindustan Motors Ltd's Uttarpara plant near Kolkata May 25, 2014. The maker of the iconic Ambassador has halted production of the car that was long the choice of Indian officialdom, citing weak demand and a lack of funds, casting doubt on the future of a vehicle that has looked essentially the same for more than five decades. Hindustan Motors Ltd said in a statement that it had suspended work at its Uttarpara plant until further notice. Modelled after the British Morris Oxford, the Ambassador was the first car to be made in India and was once a status symbol, but began losing its dominance in the mid-1980s when Maruti Suzuki introduced its low-priced 800 hatchback.
