US SOLDIER GIVES INJURED NICARAGUAN GIRL SURGICAL GLOVE BALLOON.
Sargeant Benjamin Romero (L), a flight crew member on a US Blackhawk helicopter, gives five-year-old Wendy Dinosta a blownup surgical glove to play with as her mother Tomasa Miranda looks on November 5. Wendy was evacuated for treatment of her broken leg by the U.S. helicopter from the northeatern Nicaraguan town of Wilili, which was devastated by flooding after Hurricane Mitch's passage through Central America. The helicopter is taking part in aid flights to deliver food and other essential supplies.
