A blind Palestinian girl uses a Braille system typewriter in her classroom at a United Nations Relief and Work Agency (UNRWA)-run al-Nour (Light) school for blind and visually impaired children in Gaza September 22, 2015. As the United Nations celebrates its 70-year anniversary this year, Reuters documents the work of the organisation's main aid agency in the Gaza Strip, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). The agency runs schools including the al-Nour (Light) School for the Blind and Visually Impaired Children in Gaza City and has helped families to repair their homes or find temporary alternatives following the 2014 Gaza conflict. UNRWA said in January that a lack of international funding forced it to suspend cash payments for repairs to homes. The enclave has been under Israeli blockade for years and the two sides have waged two other wars since Hamas took control of Gaza in 2007. The agency is mostly funded by voluntary contributions and has struggled to keep pace with demand for its services, the U.N. said in August. Picture taken September 22, 2015. REUTERS/Mohammed Salem
