Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Swiss aviation conglomerate SAirGroup Mario Corti presents the 2000 results at a press conference in Zurich April 2, 2001. SairGroup reported a net loss of 2.885 billion Swiss francs (1.67 billion U.S. dollars) in what it called its worst year ever due to dismal results at its airline units and huge charges for provisions and asset write-downs.
