Brake calipers are lined up for assembly at the new Bicycle Corporation of America plant in Manning, South Carolina, November 19, 2014. The BCA plant, which is owned and operated by Kent International, started the new U.S. assembly line in October. A gold bar is pictured next to a caliper at the Zlatarna Celje in Celje, April 17, 2013. Gold rose more than 1 percent on Wednesday after a slide to two-year lows this week attracted Asian interest in buying the physical metal, but sentiment was still severely shaken by the biggest two-day loss in 30 years. Government officials from the National Institute of Agricultural Investigation (INIA) measure the size of a blue crab at the coastal town of Barranquitas, Lake Maracaibo July 21, 2011. Venezuelan fishermen inspect their catch of blue crabs on the edge of Lake Maracaibo, concerned about the greasy oil stains covering their shells, where they will be processed and shipped to seafood restaurants in Maryland and New York where they are considered a delicacy. But scientists and fishermen in the state of Zulia in northwestern Venezuela worry that the crabs may not be safe for consumption. Pollution in Lake Maracaibo has been a problem for decades. In recent weeks the area has been blighted by several leaks from tangled pipes, corroding pumps and other oil installations that crisscross the lake. To match Reuters Life!
