Mississippi catfish farmer Bill Battle is shown in this still image taken from video as he discusses his industry's struggles with imports of pangasius catfish from Vietnam that have taken market share away from U.S. producers, at Battle Farms in Tunica, Mississippi, August 22, 2015. U.S. producers argue the new U.S. Department of Agriculture program is needed to ensure that imports tainted with banned antibiotics and other chemicals are kept out of U.S. grocery stores. Vietnamese exporters say the program is a trade barrier aimed at protecting a single industry. Picture taken August 22, 2015. REUTERS/David Lawder

Chairman of processor and exporter of shrimp and pangasius catfish Cafatex Nguyen Van Kich is seen during an interview with Reuters at his office in Vietnam's southern Mekong delta province of Hau Giang, August 28, 2015. The woes of the Asian-American shrimping community here highlight a unique clash of interests with a part of the world their families largely left in the 1970s and 80s, now brought to a head by plunging prices and a looming Pacific trade deal. Gulf shrimping is among a group of U.S. industries that look vulnerable as President Barack Obama's signature 12-nation trade pact nears its final negotiating stages. If the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) makes it harder to stem the flow of cheap imports raised on illegal antibiotics, the Gulf shrimpers fear that low prices will put them out of business and end a way of life. "These technical barriers are unreasonable," said Kich. "Raising shrimps and fishes ... without medicine, they are unlikely to survive." Picture taken August 28, 2015. REUTERS/Kham

People gather to see workers collecting fish inside an abandoned department store in Bangkok January 13, 2015. Staff from Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) office were catching fish on Tuesday at the ground floor of the roofless New World department store that was closed down in 1997. Thousands of fish such as catfishes, fancy carps as well as black and red tilapias were released into the ground floor of the building, flooded with rainwater, as local vendors tried to control mosquitoes in the area, local media reported. BMA recently decided to remove the fish and release the water. REUTERS/Chaiwat Subprasom (THAILAND - Tags: SOCIETY)
