A nurse signs on the wall of a room at the emergency unit of Civil Hospital (CHU) during the relocation of the hospital of Charleroi, southern Belgium, to another one a few miles away, October 18, 2014. The relocation of the hospital to the new building a few miles away is considered by local authorities as the biggest transportation move of patients in one operation in Europe in the last 50 years. The move should take about 2 days in total to relocate 146 people. Some 1,200 staff took part in the moving operation, many of them doctors and nurses. Patients in critical care, eleven babies in neonatal wards and 18 persons residing in intensive care units are among the patients involved in the move. Ten ambulances and six buses will also be used during this massive relocation, Belgian media reported. REUTERS/Yves Herman (BELGIUM - Tags: HEALTH SOCIETY TPX IMAGES OF THE DAY)

Honduras is heading for a close presidential vote on Sunday as the wife of an ousted leftist leader fends off a late surge from the ruling party heavyweight and both vow a crackdown on drug violence that has made the country the world's murder capital. The winner of Sunday's election will have to steady state finances, clean up a corrupt police force and fight drug gangs that have given the impoverished country the highest homicide rate in the world of more than 85 people per 100,000. Emergency workers leave the scene as the search for survivors was called off after a three-storey building collapsed in the South African town of Tongaat, about 45 km (28 miles) north of Durban, November 20, 2013. Rescue workers with sniffer dogs picked through rubble in search of survivors on Wednesday after a soccer pitch-sized section of the half-built mall collapsed, killing at least one and injuring dozens. It was not immediately clear how many people might be still trapped in the wreckage after the three-storey building collapsed on Tuesday afternoon. Apart from one confirmed death, 29 people, two of them in critical condition, were rushed to nearby hospitals, which initiated full-scale disaster plans, health officials said.
