La fusée prototype Starship de SpaceX a réussi son cinquième essai de vol à haute altitude mercredi. 

Une fusée SpaceX lancée avec la NASA en novembre vise à tester un système de défense planétaire unique en son genre, conçu pour dévier un astéroïde et éviter une collision potentielle avec la Terre. 

Connu comme étant un accélérateur de masse, le projet SpinLaunch est un système de lancement “cinétique” qui pourrait rivaliser avec les fusées traditionnelles et ainsi lancer des objets en orbite terrestre basse. 

Une fusée SpaceX a décollé de Californie mardi en fin de journée dans le cadre d'une mission d'essai de la Nasa unique en son genre, qui vise à faire dévier un astéroïde afin d'éviter une collision potentiellement fatale pour la Terre.
