Immigrants stand at the entrance of a container at a detention centre in the Amygdaleza suburb of western Athens February 14, 2015. Greece's new left-wing government pledged on Saturday to close down detention centres for illegal immigrants that have long been criticised by rights groups as inhumane. A woman sits in a shelter in the town of Enakievo near Donetsk, Ukraine, February 14, 2015. Fighting intensified in eastern Ukraine on Saturday as separatist rebels tried to seize more territory before a ceasefire takes effect at midnight, the Ukrainian military said.
The truce envisages the creation of a neutral "buffer zone" and withdrawal of heavy weapons responsible for many of the 5,000 casualties in a conflict that began almost a year ago and gave rise to the worst crisis in relations between Russia and the West since the Cold War a generation ago.

BRITISH ROCK GROUP BUSH PERFORMS AT WOODSTOCK FESTIVAL.
FILE PHOTO 24JUL99 - FOR USE WITH FEATURE STORY LEISURE-BUSH - Gavin Rossdale, lead singer of the British rock band "Bush", plays into the early morning hours at the Woodstock music and arts festival in Rome, New York, July 24. With a new album that feeds on paranoia, pollution and personal struggles, Bush is proving that grunge rock is not quite dead yet. Teen pop and rap-flavored rock may be the favorites of young record fans these days, but Bush hopes its third album, "The Science of Things," shows there is still a market for brooding lyrics and noisy guitars. To be sure, Bush seems to have that market virtually to itself.
