A new wave of French rock bands that emerged in the mid-2000s dubbed "Les Bebes Rockers" (The Baby Rockers), singing primarily in English, are reaching maturity and developing the desire to break French shackles and go global. Leading the charge is the BB Brunes, four Parisians barely in their 20s, who cite the likes of Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix and more recently the Strokes as key influences. The band has broken into the French mainstream and in March begin a tour to Britain to promote a new English language album named after the group. Picture taken January 28, 2011.
