Parks Commissioner Henry Stern (L) leads guests in reciting the United States pledge of allegiance at the dedication of the Katharine Hepburn Garden in the Turtle Bay section of Manhattan in New York May 12, Hepburn's 90th birthday. Hepburn, who lived in a four-story brownstone two blocks north of the garden for 60 years, spent the day at her home in Connecticut.
