ATTENDANTS LEADS FUNERAL PROCESSION FOR EMPRESS DOWAGER NAGAKO IN HACHIOJI.
Funeral attendants clad in ancient court attire lead a procession for Empress Dowager Nagako, the widow of late Emperor Hirohito, toward the Tama Mausoleum in Hachioji, the suburbs of Tokyo July 25, 2000. Nagako, who died on June 16 at the age of 97, was buried next to Hirohito in the mausoleum later in the day.
