Austrian artist Kiessling creates a drawing in Vienna
Austrian artist Alex Kiessling creates a drawing in Vienna September 26, 2013. Kiessling enlisted the help of two robots on Thursday to create a work of art simultaneously in Vienna, London and Berlin in what he called a world first. Kiessling used an infra-red sensor to trace the movements of his pen and send the signal via satellite to the industrial robots in Trafalgar Square and Breitscheidplatz that reproduced the lines he was drawing. A former gang member has a tattoo characteristic of the Mara Salvatrucha street gang erased with an infrared ray, which burns the top layer of skin off, at a clinic in Chamelecon, in San Pedro Sula, January 28, 2008. Former gang members and other people with tattoos go through the painful process of having the tattoos removed to improve their chances of employment or to make them less easy to be identified as illegal migrants in the U.S. The gang members in the tattoo removal clinic say active gang members who have their tattoos removed are sometimes murdered by other gang members.
