GERMANY CARS 

Jaguar Cars Ltd expects its new XK8 convertible, shown here at its world debut at the New York Auto Show in New York April 4, to make up 60 percent of total worldwide XK8 sales and about 70 percent of XK8 sales in the United States in 1997. Pricing has not been set for the car. This model replaces the XJS 

The new Jaguar XK8, which will succeed the legendary XJS, is presented to the media at the Geneva Car Show March 5. The XK8 will be available as a coupe and convertible car and has a new V-8 engine with 290 HP. The high-performance car is due to go on sale in October
