Subur driver Juhu Kankkunen took the lead from fellow Finn Marcus Gronholm on Saturday with Sainz as his main challenger after 12 stages. Sainz moved to second from fifth after setting the fastest times on stages nine, 10 and 11 to trail the leader by 5.3 seconds.
