Pakistani President Mohammad Rafiq Tarar (R) decorates Yousaf Khan otherwise known as Dilip Kumar (L), an Indian film actor, with the "Nishan-i-Imtiaz" award in Islamabad March 23. Kumar, a Moslem who was born in the northwestern Pakistani town of Peshawar, but opted to settle in India at the subcontinent's partition in 1947, is the only Indian actor to receive a national Pakistani award, in recognition to his contributions to acting.
