Korat Zoo officials in bird suits try to catch an Eastern Sarus Crane in Nakorn Ratchasrima, northeastern province of Thailand April 19, 2012. Officials use the "isolation-rearing technique", where they disguise themselves with gray suits trimmed with red to imitate the Eastern Sarus Crane's parents, as they care for the eight Cranes aged between 5-8 months. The technique aims to prevent the world's tallest flying bird from becoming too familiar with humans and to view humans as a threat. It prepares this endangered species to be returned to the wild within a month after their relocation in an area where hunting is forbidden. Officials said the Eastern Sarus Crane has been extinct from Thai wetlands for more than fifty years, and only 200 of its species remain in captivity in zoos around Thailand.
