ARIZONA ARMY NATIONAL GUARD APACHE AH-64A HELICOPTER HOVERS. 
An Arizona Army National Guard helicopter crew hovers their Apache AH-64A attack helicopter before taking off on a test flight at the Silver Bell Army Heliport April 6. Apaches from outside Arizona are being deployed to the war in Yugoslavia. Each Apache is designed to carry 38, two and three quarter inch rockets and eight Hellfire laser guided missiles. The range of the Apache is approximately 300 miles. The 14.5 million dollar aircraft was originally designed for Cold War defense.

U.S. Patriot missiles were brought to Turkey last month against any Iraqi threat to the base.
