South Korean Marines patrol with a lifebuoy to search for possible survivors of the sunken naval ship Cheonan, as most of the rescue operations are held up by bad weather conditions, on the seashore of Baengnyeongdo, an island near the border with North Korea April 1, 2010. The South Korean naval ship sank on March 26, 2010 near the disputed maritime border with the North. Forty six sailors were reported missing and one naval diver has died during rescue operations.
