Amid hightened security, an art exibition of Norwegian artist Edvard Munch opened in Rome. On Monday, March 7, Norwegian police recovered three paintings by Munch that had been stolen by armed, unmasked men the day before. Munch's masterpiece, "The Scream", was stolen from a museum last August and it is still missing despite extensive police searches. Police were questioning eight people after recovering a 1915 watercolour, "Blue Dress", and two lithographs in a raid in Oslo on Monday night in which a police car crashed into a getaway car to stop some suspects from escaping.
