Popular Punjabi language folk singer Gurdas Mann sits on a stretcher in a hospital in the northern Indian city of Chandigarh January 9, 2001. Mann, who has been a leading singer for the last two decades and a frequent contributor to Bollywood movies, was injured in a car accident when the vehicle in which he was travelling collided head-on with a truck.
