Casio Computer Company's Kyoko Kato shows off the "world's first wrist-type wearable audio player WMP-1V " which is unveiled in Tokyo January 6. It can be used with a computer to download MP3 (MPEG audio player-3) format files from authorized sites on the Internet or from commercially available MP3 file creation software to create MP3 files from favorite music CDs. MP3 files can then be downloaded to the wrist player for listening over the included stereo earphones. The WMP-1V can store about 33 minutes of CD-level quality sound in high quality mode and 44 minutes in medium quality mode. It will go on market from March for 37,000 yen (US$356).

Casio Computer Company's Kyoko Kato shows off the "world's first wrist-type wearable audio player WMP-1V " which is unveiled in Tokyo January 6. It can be used with a computer to download MP3 (MPEG audio player-3) format files from authorized sites on the Internet or from commercially available MP3 file creation software to create MP3 files from favorite music CDs.
