Israeli forces killed 10 Palestinian militants who slipped across the border from Gaza through hidden tunnels on Monday, the military said, as the death toll from the two-week conflict passed 500 amid growing international calls for an end. Non-stop attacks lifted the Palestinian death toll to 496, including almost 100 children, since fighting started on July 8, Gaza health officials said. A soldier walks toward a model plane, which one marine said was used by the South Korean army for target practice, on a beach on Yeonpyeong island, which lies just inside the South Korean side of the Northern Limit Line (NLL) in the Yellow Sea April 8, 2014. An unmanned drone crashed on a South Korean island near a disputed maritime border with North Korea, a South Korean defence ministry official said on April 1, triggering an investigation into whether the aircraft was from the North. The Northern Limit Line, a disputed maritime border that wraps itself round a part of the North's coastline, has been the scene of frequent clashes between South and North Korea. The line was drawn up at the end of the 1950-53 Korean War and North Korea does not recognize it. The two sides are still technically at war as the conflict ended in a mere truce, not a treaty. A South Korean P3 Orion aircraft takes off from the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) Pearce Airbase, near Perth, as it participates in the continuing search for the missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 over the southern Indian Ocean April 17, 2014. The "Bluefin-21" deep-sea drone had completed its much-anticipated first full scan of the seabed in the remote Indian Ocean, the team looking for the missing Malaysian jetliner said on Thursday, as an air and surface search became less likely to yield results. Footage from the U.S. Navy deep-sea drone is fast becoming the most important tool for a multinational team still searching for Malaysia Airlines flight MH370, which disappeared from radar screens on March 8 with 239 people aboard. The search for a Malaysia Airlines jetliner deep in the Indian Ocean was again cut short on Wednesday when technical problems forced a U.S. Navy underwater drone to surface without finding anything, officials said. A Chinese Ilyushin IL-76 aircraft lands at Perth International Airport April 16, 2014, after participating in the continuing search in the southern Indian Ocean for the missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370. The search for a Malaysia Airlines jetliner deep in the Indian Ocean was again cut short on Wednesday when technical problems forced a U.S. Navy underwater drone to surface without finding anything, officials said. While a massive air and sea search for missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 is continuing almost 2,000 km (1,200 miles) off the coast of Perth, hopes have been pinned on the Bluefin-21 autonomous underwater vehicle finding the first concrete sign of the plane in more than six weeks of hunting. An unmanned remote-controlled miniature aircraft with an attached camera, which rebels say belonged to forces loyal to Syria's President Bashar al-Assad, is seen inside a room in Homs, November 11, 2013. Free Syrian Army fighters claimed that they brought down the remote-controlled miniature aircraft by frequency interference. Picture taken November 11, 2013.
