German Interior Minister de Maiziere speaks during a news conference in Hamburg
German Interior Minister Thomas de Maiziere speaks during a news conference following the German federal state Interior Ministers conference in the northern German town of Hamburg November 19, 2010. A suspicious package found at Windhoek airport that triggered an international alarm was only a fake device to test security and contained no explosives, de Maiziere said on Friday. Namibian police had found the bag in routine security checks during loading ahead of a German tourist flight to Munich, Namibian and German authorities said on Thursday.
