respects at the coffin of the Queen Mother which is lying in state at
Westminster Hall in central London, London, April 7, 2002. Thousands of
people have queued to pay their last respects to the Queen Mother, who
died on March 30, 2002 aged 101. Her funeral will take place on April 9
after which she will be interred at St George's Chapel in Windsor next

People walk past a noticeboard that says "We mourn the dead of Eschede and express our deep sympathy to the injured and the relatives of the victims" at Frankfurt's central train station, June 5. Officials said 95 people were known to have died in Germany's biggest post-war train crash in Eschede, northern Germany on Wednesday.
