PHOTO OF PISSARRO PAINTING BOULEVARD MONTMARTRE SPRING IN ISRAEL MUSEUM JERUSALEM.
A photo reproduction of Camille Pissarro's painting, "Boulevard Montmartre, Spring 1897" hanging in the Israel Museum February 18 after the Israel Museum restored ownership of the painting to a Jewish family forced by the Nazis to sell it in 1935. After months of investigation, the museum has recognized that Gerta Silberberg of Britain holds the legal title to the painting. Silberberg has given permission to the museum to keep the painting in Jerusalem on a long-term loan.
