New-make malt whisky drips into a bucket at a distillery in a former horse stable in the village of Mark Landin near Angermuender, some 100 km (62 miles) northeast of Berlin February 27, 2014. Following an old passion for single malt whisky, Bohn installed in late 1999 a 550 litre German-made fruit brandy facility into a former horse stable and began to explore the secrets of liquor making with the declared aim to produce a whisky that is distinctive for its region. Bohn's technique differs slightly from traditional Scottish ways. The new-make whisky ages for a minimum of three years in American white oak and German Spessart oak casks to become Preussischer Whisky. Picture taken February 27, 2014.
