A striking worker at Ssangyong Motor gives his children a ride on a motor scooter at its main plant in Pyeongtaek, about 70 km (40 miles) south of Seoul, June 28, 2009. The automaker's management left the plant late Saturday after about 3,000 managerial officers, management-backed employees unaffected by layoff plan and temporary guards hired by management, entered the plant last Friday and clashed with fired workers who have been on strike since late May. The carmaker, 51 percent owned by Chinese automaker SAIC Motor Corp, has called for more than 1,000 workers to be laid off, triggering protests from the labour union. The message on the banner reads,"Dismissal is murder behaviour which destroys family. Withdraw it immediately!". REUTERS/Lee Jae-Won (SOUTH KOREA TRANSPORT EMPLOYMENT BUSINESS CONFLICT)
