A rescue vessel assists the Norwegian car-ferry "Princess Ragnhild" after a fire onboard the vessel early July 8 off the western coast of Sweden.Some 1,300 people were safely evacuated from the blazing ferry, with fine weather helping to avoid what could have been a major catastrophe, rescue officials said The Norwegian ferry was on a ordinary voyage from Kiel in Germany to Oslo, Norway with 1167 passsengers onboard. There were no serious injuries, but four people needed hospital treatment for smoke inhalation.
