Volunteers unfold a quilt panel to mark the 25th anniversary of The AIDS Memorial Quilt and the 30 years since the HIV and AIDS epidemic was diagnosed in America, on the National Mall in Washington June 27, 2012. The AIDS Memorial Quilt, is an enormous quilt made as a memorial to and celebration of the lives of people who have died of AIDS-related causes.
