Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina (L) holds up a flower-made boat handed to her at a public reception in Dhaka's Paltain Maidan avenue September 26. The boat, jointly held by Zillur Rahman (R), general secretary of Hasina's ruling Awami League, is the party's traditional election symbol. The reception, attended by an estimated 50,000 preople, was accorded to Hasina for she had received the UNESCO peace award in Paris on Saturday. Hasina returned to Dhaka early on Sunday.
