Alleged childhood clergy sexual abuse victim Gary Garland pauses as he
talks to the news media about the abuse that he allegedly suffered at
the hands of Roman Catholic Monsignor Frederick Ryan in the 1980's.
Garland spoke to the media in Boston outside a deposition December 20,
2002 for Garland and other alleged victims' civil law suits against
their former teacher at Boston' Catholic Memorial High School. Garland
was arrested outside Monsignor Ryan's home earlier this year with a
