A short-snouted seahorse is seen at the Aquarium Pula, Croatia, July 25, 2018. Housed in a more than 130-year-old fort in Croatia, Aquarium Pula boasts species from the Adriatic as well as tropical marine zones and freshwater habitats. From seahorses delicately entwining themselves in the seagrass to the other-worldly jelly fish drifting in the deep blue water, the aquarium is home to around 250 species in 100 pools and tanks and attracts some 125,000 visitors a year. A veterinarian holds Kabang, a mongrel dog, during a news conference, after her return to the Philippines after eight months of surgery and treatment in the U.S., in Makati, Metro Manila June 8, 2013. Kabang has been hailed as a hero in the Philippines after her snout was ripped off while saving the lives of her owner Rudy Bunggal's daughter and niece in 2011 when she leaped in front of a motorcycle on the verge of hitting them. She was released from the University of California's Davis Veterinary Hospital on June 3 following surgery to partially reconstruct her face and treatment for heartworm and cancer that were funded by money raised in an online campaign.
