A combination picture shows Shai Dagan, 42, a soundman, and his tent at a tent camp in south Tel Aviv, part of an ongoing protest against the high cost of living in Israel, August 19, 2011. When asked why he was there Dagan said, "I see this protest as something in the core of Israeli society. Financially life here is just too difficult. The fight to make a living even for people who have a decent job creates a lot of side effects in terms of daily interactions between people and between people towards the system. People are bitter and angry in a country that is rich but the people are poor. Even in months when I get work every day I can't make more than a very basic living and that means something is wrong here." The sign reads: "A land that devours its inhabitants". An Afghan soundman shouts "silence" during the shooting of an Afghan feature film in the village of Sarai Khuja, north of Kabul June 3, 2011. During the austere Taliban rule from 1996-2001, television, music and film were banned. Amid escalating violence across Afghanistan in the tenth year of fighting in the NATO-led war, fear of the Taliban is ever-present across many sectors of society. The Afghan film industry says suicide attacks and bombs threaten the livelihood of its cinema just as much as its lack of quality equipment. Picture taken June 3, 2011. Reuters cameraman Fadel Shana films in Rafah camp in the southern Gaza Strip in this February 4, 2008 file photo. A Reuters cameraman was killed in the Gaza Strip on April 16, 2008 in what appeared to have been an Israeli military strike. Shana, a 23-year-old Palestinian, was covering violence in the enclave for the international news agency. Two bystanders were also killed in an explosion after Shana stepped from his vehicle. His soundman escaped serious injury. Film from Shana's camera showed an Israeli tank stationed several hundred metres (yards) away firing a shell. The film then went blank, apparently at the moment Shana was hit. Earlier, local residents had said the explosion appeared to have been caused by an air strike. REUTERS/Ibraheem Abu Mustafa (GAZA)
