A security camera hangs from the roof of the Secretariat Building at the United Nations headquarters with the East River and Queensboro Bridge in the background in New York City September 17, 2015. As leaders from almost 200 nations gather for the annual general assembly at the United Nations, the world body created 70 years ago, Reuters photographer Mike Segar documented quieter moments at the famed 18-acre headquarters on Manhattan's East Side. The U.N., established as the successor to the failed League of Nations after World War Two to prevent a similar conflict from occurring again, attracts more than a million visitors every year to its iconic New York site. The marathon of speeches and meetings this year will address issues from the migrant crisis in Europe to climate change and the fight against terrorism. A poster of Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi, founder of the Shi'ite Houthi movement, hangs from on a monitoring post at the presidential palace in Sanaa January 22, 2015. A senior official of Yemen's Houthi movement said on Thursday that a statement by President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi aimed at defusing a political crisis was acceptable because it confirmed the terms of a power-sharing agreement signed in September. Witnesses said Houthi fighters remained in position outside the presidential palace and Hadi's private residence, where the head of state actually lives. Hadi in his statement said the Houthis had agreed to remove their men from those places. REUTERS/Khaled Abdullah (YEMEN - Tags: CIVIL UNREST POLITICS MILITARY)

A camera-equipped surveillance balloon that was erected by the Israeli army is pictured as seen from the southern Lebanese village of Wazzani October 8, 2014. An attack by Hezbollah on Lebanon's border with Israel which wounded two Israeli soldiers was a message that the group remained ready to confront its old foe despite its engagement in Syria's civil war, the group's deputy leader said.
